TERMS OF SALE AND BUYER'S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS OF USE Returns and Refunds: We put our customers first! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of shipment for an exchange or refund*. Returned or exchanged merchandise shipped back to the Spy and Security Store will not be accepted without a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 15 percent. Credit card purchases are subject to an additional 5 percent restocking fee. Shipping charges and custom or special orders are non-refundable. All packages shipped back to the Spy and Security Store must be in original condition, contain all original packaging materials, shall be shipped insured, and must clearly display given RMA number on the exterior of the packaging. If returned merchandise is found to be damaged, tampered with, or otherwise not in a resalable condition, package shall be returned to purchaser at additional expense. * PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the equipment purchased, any/all sales of RF detectors, phone tap detecors; covert, hidden, or "nanny watch" type cameras; surveillance cameras; or any other camera that is sold with a pinhole lens, are considered final and shall not be returned for a refund. However, defective items may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt of the original shipment, and at the Spy and Security Store's sole discretion, for any other camera of equal value, or the purchase amount may be credited towards an upgrade of any other system of greater value. Exchanged items shall not be returned or re-exchanged for another item. Warranty: Unless specifically specified, equipment may be warranted by the manufacturer against manufacturing defects. Length of warranty varies depending upon make and model. If a product is warranted by the manufacturer, it will be stated in the item discription. Defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, modifications, and unauthorized repairs are not covered by warranty. Within the warranty period, the Spy and Security Store will, at it's discretion, repair or replace the product(s) without charge. Legality of Products: It is the responsibility of the Purchaser, not the Spy and Security Store, or any employee of said company, to determine and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations in regard to the purchase, possession and use of all products offered by the Spy and Security Store. Purchaser assumes all liability or damage resulting from the use, misuse or unlawful use of any products offered. By placing an order, the Purchaser agrees that all products will be used in a legal and lawful manner in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. Prepayment: Prepayment, in United States currency, is required before product(s) may be shipped. Payment includes shipping and handling charges and, where applicable, sales taxes. Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as money orders, cashiers checks, and money/wire transfers. Public Safety and governmental entities within the United States may also pay via departmental accounts. With prior approval, the Spy and Security Store may accept checks drawn on business accounts. In all instances involving payment by check, the Spy and Security Store reserves the right to postpone shipping for 10 business days or until the check clears the bank. Shipping: All domestic shipments shall be sent via UPS or US Postal service. International orders shall be sent via DHL. For the protection of our customers, the Spy and Security Store performs an address verification on all orders and shall only ship packages to the known billing address of the used credit card. Sales Taxes: Any orders shipped to destinations within California must include applicable state sales tax of 7.75%, unless a copy of a tax exemption certificate can be sent via fax or mail to the Spy and Security Store. Sales Refusal: The Spy and Security Store reserves the right to refuse the sale of any equipment to any individual, business, or organization, when it is feared or believed that the equipment may be used for immoral and criminal purposes.
